(no subject)

Friday:  Spent the day solo-dadding and working on C-Monster's science fair project.  The original plan failed, so we had to scramble for something new.  We ended up creating a means of seeing the effects of magnetic fields in three dimensions using steel wool and a bottle of baby oil.  Dropped him off at the In-Laws' at 3 and drove way out north to the Cafe Adobe in the Woodlands for rehearsal dinner.  Came back home, drank beer, blathered online and read until about 1 AM.

Saturday: Woke up around 9 AM.  Ran to Kohl's to get a wedding present.  Watched soccer.  Left around noon to drive up to Conroe for the wedding.  It was beautiful.  Saw a bunch of folks I seldom cross paths with anymore and had a generally lovely time. Jane was gorgeous; when I get pictures I'm posting them.  Drove home, stopped off at Johnny Carino's for dinner.  Watched "The Four Musketeers" with C-Monster.  Probably a bit dark and sophisticated for him, but he'd seen the first film and was insistent about watching the sequel.  I fast-forwarded in a couple of spots.

Today:  Slept in again.  Today, I need to repair the fence.  I'm hoping Home Despot is open, because I could really stand to reinforce one of the posts.  After that, I need to draft the written part of C-Monster's science fair stuff to turn it into an actual experiment.  And I still owe folks my thoughts on Spirit of the Century and Hollow Earth Expedition.  It's going to be a busy one.
