Stupid Rain

A storm rolled in about fifteen minutes ago, knocking out our DirecTV coverage.  On which I was watching Liverpool's season opener.

I am officially cranky now.

(no subject)

The storm cleared out in time for me to watch Torres score the game winner for the Reds.  Thanks to a couple of good choices with my fantasy squad, FC Arkham is on top of both of my leagues, though I expect this to last less than twenty four hours.

It's a rather lazy day, all in all.  I'm supposed to go set up my profile on Wii Fit and find out how out of shape I am (very), though I'm beginning to think fitness is overrated.

The Wii Wants Me To Die

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Of course, the facts are more along the lines of this:

My BMI is at the top end of normal.  This is OK, but it could be better.

My aerobic health is zilch.  Zip.  Nada.  Nil.

My balance and strength is similarly crap.  According to Wii Fit, my "Wii Age" is 61.

I managed (barely) to get through the basic easy jogging track without keeling over until it was done.

And tomorrow, I'm going to try again.  And the day after that, and the day after that.
