The Abrupt Grinding Of Mental Gears

Thanks to Ike, my Champions game went on hiatus for a few weeks, until everyone got their lives sorted back out.  We're scheduled to re-start it on Saturday, with a new (and final for now) player joining us.  No problems, right?

Except, when reviewing the adventure I kinda sorta thought I'd run, I realized that one of the PCs will either A) Have NOTHING TO DO during large swaths of the session, or B) Run rampant and simply short-cut the mystery (the character has that sort of all-or-nothing potential at the moment).  Not good.

At the same time, I'm still reading Erikson's Toll the Hounds, and am trying to put together a new D&D character for next Tuesday.  These latter activities are playing holy hell with my ability to access the superheroic compartment of my brain.

Ah well, I guess I'll just jam it into gear and see what happens.
